Cracker Barrel > Being on Time for Flight

EPIC FAIL

I would begin with a joke like I did yesterday, but right now I feel like the joke's on me. Totally missed my flight. There were a few reasons why this happened, but the best one can be explained in two words: Cracker Barrel. I wanted to savor my last American meal. Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about. Mac n' cheese, green beans, biscuits with apple butter ... c'm on. All that deliciousness is completely be-late-miss-your-flight-and-pay-an-extra-$120-fee worthy. Right? I'll continue to justify my gluttony.

All is not lost. Although I envisioned being elsewhere for my next post, it feels dang nice to be lounging on my bed. Everything happens for a reason, I 'spose. Anyway, I will be trying again tomorrow for a flight at 2:50 pm. I will pack a snack so as not to be tempted by the lure of Southern cuisine on my way to the airport. Will power!!

"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well." - Virginia Woolf

I'm a big fan of all things involving thinking, loving, and sleeping. I also tend to do some of these things in excess, so you understand my need to dine well before any of the others can occur. Thanks for the supporting argument in defense of my being a total slacker today, V. Woolf.
